Quorn Dippers provide a vegetarian alternative to the chicken varieties with which children are already familiar. Made from mycoprotein, a microscopic member of the fungi family, Quorn contains less fat than skinless chicken, more fibre than a baked potato, and more protein than an egg, according to the manufacturer. It also contains a range of vitamins, minerals and Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids but is free from artificial preservatives, flavourings and colours and will not shrink. The dippers are coated in light tempura batter, can be baked in the oven from frozen in less than 15 minutes. They are supplied in 2kg packs that contain about 93 x 21g dippers.
