Pauleys in local green grocery delivery move

National fresh produce supplier http://www.pauleys.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Pauleys- a division of Brakes Group - has launched a local delivery service to businesses within a 30-mile radius of its warehouse in Corby, Northamptonshire.

The green grocery service will include late ordering until 10pm and next-day delivery in a dedicated produce vehicle. The 80-year-old firm's portfolio includes 130 Red Tractor-accredited products, exotic produce from around the world, fully prepared vegetables and salads, and fruit baskets.

"With regional and seasonal produce at the forefront of our business ethos, it makes perfect sense to introduce a service that will serve our local community," commented marketing manager Rachel Sewter.

Fresh produce that is not delivered to customers is collected each day by staff from nominated local charity, Lakelands Day Care Hospice, to feed patients and visiting carer groups.
