Pepsi Xtra Cold dispenser from Britvic

On the back of internal research carried out late last year showing that taste and temperature are the most important aspects to customers when buying cola in a pub or bar, Britvic has launched Pepsi Xtra Cold.

The Britvic-patented dispense system enables draught cola to be served extra cold at a guaranteed temperature of less than 4°C.

The 10 litre four head bag-in-box (BIB) system is mounted on the bar and the syrup and water are cooled and mixed below the bar rather than in the glass to ensure the drink is served at the right temperature, taste mix and carbonation.

The new system is also easier to clean and maintain than traditional post-mix dispense systems and comes with POS and branded glassware to raise awareness of Xtra Cold among consumers visiting pubs and bars.
