Peter Andre helps United Coffee with launch of website for coffee-lovers
United Coffee has launched www.makedecentcoffee.com, a website for consumers dedicated to making decent coffee.
To promote the launch, pop star Peter Andre, who has his own coffee house in East Grinstead, toured the streets of the capital to encourage coffee drinkers to kick the instant habit and throw away their jars of instant coffee in exchange for a box of real coffee.
Andre commented: "Decent coffee comes in many forms but instant isn't one of them. For years we've been led to believe that instant coffee is the only way.
"Not any more. Making decent coffee yourself doesn't have to be hard or time consuming. There is nothing like the taste of real coffee, yet so many people needlessly settle for instant."
www.makedecentcoffee.com allows you to buy fresh coffee and brewing equipment and includes features such as downloadable brewing guides, educational videos on how to brew the perfect cup of coffee at home and information about exciting combinations, blends and flavours.
Elaine Higginson, managing director of United Coffee UK & Ireland, said: "People are getting more savvy about the quality of coffee in their cup. There is a huge demand for a great coffee at home so we are talking to consumers to understand what they really want and to help them get it.
"We've spent 12 months developing this website for coffee enthusiasts to share ideas, knowledge and experience and bring increased awareness about the alternatives to instant coffee."
