The Serious Food Company has increased its dessert offer for the food service sector from three to 11 varieties. The collection comprises Ceramic, Individual Pot, Deep South Pie and Sharing desserts.
The ceramics range includes a Christmas trio of crème brûlée with sections containing sweet brandy, crumbled Christmas pudding and cherries in a white ceramic dish, an apple and caramel flapjack crumble, pear and damson flapjack crumble and a hot chocolate fondant.
The individual pots range includes a mousse au chocolat, vanilla risotto with rhubarb and strawberry compote, vanilla panna cotta with boysenberry and raspberry.
A key lime pie and banoffee pie are offered in the Deep South Pie range and there's a Blackforest Bowl for sharing, with layers of dark chocolate mousse, morello cherry and kirsch compote, chocolate sponge, whipped cream, topped with dark chocolate shavings.
Desserts are typically supplied in packs of eight but the company can tailor orders to individual requests.
