Power-saving Toast-Qwik conveyor toasters from Hatco

A new energy- and money-saving option on Hatco's range of Toast-Qwik conveyor toasters will see them switch to power-save after 30 minutes of inactivity, overcoming the drain on electricity that occurs when conveyor toasters are left on when not in use because they take too long to regain their temperature after being switched off.

This option is available on popular models such as the TQ-405 and TQ805 at no extra charge - operators simply add PWR-A to the model number to choose the feature.

The Toast-Qwik line can handle between 400 and 800 slices an hour and includes standard and bagel models, versions with taller openings for thicker products, and high-speed options.

All offer front or rear discharge for flexible siting, have electronically-controlled top and bottom heating elements and use the patented Colorguard system that monitors temperature and adjusts the conveyor speed during heavy use to ensure uniform results.
