Premium Adoro and Marilyn Merlot wines from Global Brands

Just weeks after buying drinks agency Inspirit Brands (a move that more than doubled its drinks portfolio), Global Wines has launched a new premium wines division that kicks off with two sophisticated, niche lines: Adoro hand-crafted wines from South Africa and the Marilyn Merlot collection from Bordeaux.

Adoro's artisan wines were commended at the International Wine Challenge, and are made from grapes sourced from a variety of vineyards across the Western Cape and blended to create signature wines. For instance, the Naudi White combines Chenin Blanc, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc; the Adoro Red comprises Merlot, Shiraz, Mouvedre and Grenache; and the Adoro Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes sourced from five different regions.

The French wines use the finest Merlot grapes sourced from the Premieres Cotes region of Bordeaux, delivering a rich, plummy yet complex flavour.
