Proper Cornish Group refreshes commercial team

Proper Cornish Group has announced the appointment of two new senior personnel within its commercial team.

The group incorporates the UK's leading handmade Cornish pasty producer, Proper Cornish, and Cornish artisan biscuit manufacturer Furniss.

Kevin Pugsley brings with him a wealth of experience in the food sector and joins the Proper Cornish team as senior commercial manager, focusing on driving sales. A qualified chef, Pugsley has lent his expertise to companies including Heinz, Canterbury Foods, CP Foods and convenience food giant Greencore (Ministry of Cake).

David Willcocks joins the team supporting Pugsley in his role as commercial manager, targeted with growing the company's £13.4m turnover. An experienced sales professional with expertise in B2B sales in the retail, foodservice, manufacturing and wholesale channels, Willcocks gained experience at Somerfields, Gerber Juice Company, Hall and Woodhouse and Eurilait.
