Record financial results for Hobart yet again
Hobarthas reported record financial results for the 11th year in a row with global turnover in 2011 of $1.5b (£948m), 4.1% higher than the previous year, while the turnover of its German-based European operation increased to €191m £154m), 12% up on 2010.
The record results are down to a successful long-term corporate strategy focused on harnessing technical innovation to deliver outstanding machine economy while also maintaining the company's commitment to the environment.
Tim Bender, UK product development manager - warewashing, Hobart UK, said: "We have the answers to the most pressing issues that our customers have to deal with and we offer them products of unrivalled quality. However, this focus on quality goes beyond the machine design and performance because we take our commitment to the protection of the environment very seriously."
One prime example of the company's focus on the environment is its plant in Elgersweier, Germany, which is exclusively powered by energy from renewable sources.
