The newly launched "just add water" range of cake, bread and pastry mixes from the Country Range Group gives busy caterers a hassle-free alternative to making puddings and pastries from scratch, with delicious products that still deliver on taste and appearance.
The new mixes include Sponge, Chocolate Sponge, Ginger Sponge, Crumble, Scone, White Bread and Roll, All-Purpose Pastry, Vegetable Suet and Shortcrust Pastry. Caterers simply add water to the mixes, which contain no hydrogenated fats, artificial colours or preservatives.
They also comply with the Food Standards Authority 2010 guidelines on salt content, and are suitable for vegetarians and people with nut allergies.
