Product Scrimshaw's Pork Pies

USP This heritage brand was a hit in the early 1900s but did not survive the death in 1949 of its creator, Nottinghamshire butcher and master baker's son Thomas Scrimshaw. It has now been revived by his granddaughter, Olivia, and is already being served to customers of the Terroirs and Brawn wine bars in London

Details The pies combine a peppery meat with a crisp, firm pastry case. As they are made in Melton Mowbray, they carry the European Protected Geographical Indication mark. They come in five sizes, including a bespoke Wedding Pork Pie option

Price 280g pie - £3; 450g, four-slice pie - £4.20; 1kg, eight-slice pie - £8; 2.5kg, 15-slice celebration pie - £25
