Shortlisted contenders for new Footprint Awards unveiled
Distributor Brakes has made a strong showing in the shortlist of contenders for the http://www.caterersearch.com/Articles/2010/12/16/336410/Footprint-Awards-launched-for-UK-food-service.htm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">inaugural Footprint Awards, the first green awards dedicated to the UK foodservice market.
There are also two awards dedicated to outstanding individual contributions - the Special Achievement Award (sponsored by 3663) for individuals across the industry and the Dudson-sponsored Community Vote Award for individual hotel, restaurant, and pub outlets.
The winners and runners-up of the awards will be announced at a sustainability-themed evening at the Royal Institute of British Architecture in London on 19 May, where attendees will be treated to a menu devised by CH&Co executive chef David Cavalier.
Nestlé Professional is the headline sponsor for the awards.
