Six winter soups join Redemption line
Redemption Food Company soups are split into four distinct ranges, with six new varieties for winter 2009.
Winter Vegetable joins the Simple range of traditional flavours, which also includes Burns Scotch Broth; Lentil; and Tomato. The Special range, comprising Red Thai Chicken; Wild Mushroom; Boston Chicken Chowder; and Smokin, Chicken, now has the added varieties of Roasted Parsnip & Artichoke; Pea & Ham; and Mexican Spicy Bean.
Two new flavours - Meatball Minestrone, and Chorizo & Chickpea Ð have been added to the Green Chilli Meatball; Chipotle Meatball; and Beef & Potato soups, which make up the Robust range of thick, chunky soups.
Other varieties available make up the House range: Creamy Potato & Double Gloucester; Minted Garden Pea; Tuscan Tomato & Basil; Lentil & Bacon; Carrot & Coriander; Healthy Vegetable; Leek & Potato; Chicken & Vegetable; Chickpea & Spinach; Broccoli & Leek; and Minestrone.
All Redemption soups are cooked by hand in small batches to better control the taste and flavour. Ingredients are sourced as locally as possible, using 1,000 litres of fresh cream every week from a local Durham dairy, Stilton from a cheese farm in Derbyshire and sausages from Scotland.
