Smoky Bacon joins Walkers' Big Eat range

Walkers has added Smoky Bacon to its Big Eat range of crisps in 50g bags.

It's the company's fifth best-selling flavour and is growing at 20% in the standard bag range and in the Big Eat format is expected to appeal to the young adult male market.

Other flavours in the Big Eat range include Cheese & Onion; Ready Salted; Salt and Vinegar; Prawn Cocktail; Steak and Onion; Roast Chicken, and Worcester Sauce.

Walkers uses mainly three types of potatoes to make its crisps - Lady Rosetta, Hermes and Saturna.
