Snap up a birthday goodie bag from Almondy

This year Almondy is celebrating its 30th birthday. For three decades the Swedish baker has been delighting customers, building a cult following of tårtaholics - devotees of its delicious almond-based tårta (Swedish for "cake").

To celebrate, Almondy will be giving Caterer and Hotelkeeper readers an "irresistible slice of Sweden", giving away 10 exclusive birthday goodie bags that include a stylish Almondy cake stand and cake slicer, plus a raft of branded merchandise.

Simply go to http://foodservice.almondy.com and leave a few details to claim your bag before 27 July 2012.

"This is a landmark moment for the company and time for a celebration." said Andrew Ely, managing director of Almondy in the UK.

"A great party deserves an even better party bag; so with this in mind so we are giving away a whole host of Almondy goodies, with the aim of converting even more tårtaholics to Almondy."

The Almondy bakery was started back in 1982 by two young Swedish men, Kent and Lennart, who had a dream of building a boat and sailing around the world - until they discovered a recipe from 1890 for an "irresistible" cake, which was to prove their recipe for success. Today, Almondy sells its brand of almond tårta in more than 40 countries, where they are enjoyed by 140 million people every year.
