Chardon Management Ltd has signed a three-year contract with iTradeNetwork; the world's leading provider of cloud-based supply chain and purchasing technology to the hospitality, foodservice and retail industries. The deal will enable Chardon Management to deliver a market-leading online purchasing solution to its customers through iTradeNetwork's Multiple Operator Portal.
Through the Multiple Operator Portal, Chardon Management can manage its product catalogues and online pricing, allowing its clients to login to its branded purchasing website and place orders online across its full supplier set, 24/7 from any location. The portal is user-friendly and simple to navigate, enabling Chardon's clients to better manage their invoicing processes and view new products and product details at a glance. Product and related updates occur instantly, making the customer's buying process slicker and more efficient.
Regarded as the leading independent hotel management contract company in the UK, Chardon currently operates 37 hotels, ranging in scale from limited service through to full service offerings with extensive conference and eventing facilities, branded restaurants and health, fitness and spa operations.
Matt Stray, Director of Operational Projects for Chardon Management said:
"We worked closely with iTradeNetwork, which provided expert industry knowledge during every stage of this project. The Multiple Operator Portal will provide an integral purchasing link between Chardon and our clients, ensuring they receive the full benefit from a specific range of carefully negotiated products. The online ordering system gives us improved control, with the ability to rationalise our commodities purchasing and drive compliance, which ultimately results in improved deals and cost savings for our clients."
Anthony Eccles, Business Unit Controller for iTradeNetwork said: "The Multiple Operator Portal is proven and robust and is already widely used in the hospitality industry. It gives Chardon Management the ability to provide its customers with a cost-effective online purchasing solution without having to develop the technology themselves. Buying groups like Chardon can gain greater control of purchasing and realise efficiencies on behalf of their customers. The system provides instantaneous updates and reporting which can often help to identify inefficient and costly buying patterns."
