Supplier press release: Hotelympia Preview: Winterhalter shows latest in warewashing technology and chemicals

- On Stand N1320 Winterhalter will be showing the latest warewashing technology, including its new reverse osmosis water treatment system, the RoMatik XS (eXtra Small) and the innovative see-though UC Series fascia. Winterhalter will also be demonstrating its glasswashing expertise with experts on hand to answer any queries. The interactive stand gives visitors the chance to see how the technology and machines work to deliver perfect cleaning results every time.

Winterhalter has mounted a camera inside a UC Series machine so visitors can see what goes on during a wash cycle, how it all works and how technology such as VarioPower delivers consistently good washing results every time.

Winterhalter will also have a chemical laboratory showing how its chemicals cope with different types of water hardness and how chemicals can affect glassware. Ultimately they will demonstrate how to achieve brilliant, clean, sparkling glasses and how to increase the longevity of your glassware.

The highly compact RoMatik XS is designed to work with undercounter glass and dishwashers, such as Winterhalter's award-winning UC Series. It combines all the benefits of a full-size reverse osmosis system with low running costs and long service intervals.

Reverse osmosis systems are recognised as the best way to treat water to ensure perfect glass and dishwashing results, with no smears or odours. There's no need to polish the glasses afterwards and high hygiene standards are maintained.

In reverse osmosis systems, water is passed though an ultra-fine membrane which removes the impurities and particles that cause cleaning problems. Unlike traditional bulky systems, the RoMatik XS measures just 469mm (h) x 142mm (w) x 515mm (d), yet it can process up to 90 litres of water per hour, removing 98% of particles.

Dare to bare

Winterhalter will also be showcasing its UC series of undercounter glasswashers at Hotelympia, now available with a glass door and illuminated interior. As well as delivering a bit of a 'wow' factor, the glass door also reassures guests that hygiene and cleanliness standards are high, going hand in hand with the UC series' award-winning reputation.

Chemical action

Winterhalter's new range of environmentally friendly chemicals will also be shown on the stand. All the new products are based on detergents, biocides or solvents derived from plants. However they still deliver sparkling clean, hygienic results.

The new products include a surface glass cleaner which can be used on windows, mirrors, glass table tops and bar surfaces; a powdered detergent rejuvenator to remove rinse aid film from drinking glasses and extend their working life; and Diamond 2000 detergent for hard water use.

And that's not all

Winterhalter will also be showing its full comprehensive range of dishwashers at Hotelympia, with models to suit all venues and requirements.
Winterhalter provides a total solution for warewashing, from pre-sales advice to after-sales service, training and maintenance. Alongside its market-leading dish and glasswashers, the company's range includes utensil washers, advanced water treatment machines, cleaning chemicals and detergents.
