Supplier press release: Supporting Crisis at Christmas

The Stock People are once again proud to support Crisis, the national charity dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change.

Over Christmas, Crisis run temporary centres that provide shelter for those sleeping rough and companionship and support to the vulnerably housed.

We will be donating our Beef, Chicken and Vegetable Stocks along with Chicken and Savoury Gravies, which will be used to make a perfect Christmas meal for many homeless people over the festive period.

As sharp rises in homelessness continue, Crisis is expecting more than 4,000 guests across London, Newcastle and Edinburgh this year.

Ian Richards, head of Crisis at Christmas, said: "Without the generous support of donors, volunteers and partners, Crisis at Christmas would not be possible. We would like to thank Essential Cuisine for their donation of cooking stock and gravy powder. This support will help us to provide a lifeline for our guests this Christmas, and help them take their first steps out of homelessness.
