Sustainable spring water system from Quangoff

Cornishman David Lenderyou has devised what is believed to be the world's first system to provide natural spring water without needing a bottle change.

The system designed for the hospitality industry by his company, Quangoff, is said to reduce the energy and environmental cost of making and distributing bottled water by 80%.

The water is dispensed from a compact, branded unit (measuring 390mm high x 390mm deep x 260mm wide), to which it is piped from a reusable bag inside a box made of recycled cardboard.

The water, which will be supplied by local spring water companies to local customers to reduce road miles, can be dispensed into reusable 350ml or 750ml Quangoff bottles or directly into a glass.

The Quangoff bottles can carry the customer's brand, which is tempered onto the glass so that it can be repeatedly washed at high temperatures. The system, which includes 60 glass bottles, is delivered within 14 days and costs £11.95 per week.
