Caterers can streamline their breakfast service with the two new Roundup Egg Stations from Equip Line which both plug into a normal 13amp socket.
The compact (184mm high x 422mm wide x 462mm deep) and easy-to-clean units poach eggs using a combination of heat and steam with the aid of egg rings made from a non-stick blend of stainless steel and Teflon.
The ES60 model will poach up to six eggs per load within 2½ minutes while the ES120 can handle 12 eggs per load (or more than 120 per hour).
In both cases, caterers can opt to cook half the maximum number of eggs to leave space to heat up precooked bacon.
Cook times, which vary according to the temperature and size of the eggs, averages between 120 to 180 seconds.
