Switch your illegal fire door wedges with Fireco

Nearly 70% of premises audited for fire risk earlier this year were found to be illegally using wedges to keep their fire doors open, according to a survey commissioned by Fireco, supplier of the wireless Dorgard fire-door solution.

The group has declared war on illegal fire-door wedges, which can lead to deaths in a blaze, by launching its Wedge Pledge.

The Dorgard system - which complies with all relevant British standards, EC directives and UK fire regulations - will hold fire doors open safely in any position and automatically release them if the fire alarm sounds.
