The Uber Boiler from Marco

The Uber Boiler from Marco

Following over a year of development, testing and industry feedback, Marco Beverage Systems has launched its long awaited Über Boiler.

Different speciality beverages need to be brewed at different temperatures for optimum results and the Über Boiler has been designed to provide this precision control of hot water and, indeed, all aspects of the brew process.

The boiler fits neatly under the counter while the control panel is built into the worktop.

This panel incorporates weighing scales to ensure the correct quantity of tea or coffee is used, which are accurate to half a gram (equivalent to two coffee beans).

The target temperature is set using buttons on the fascia, with accuracy to +/-0.1°C.

The controls also manage water flow, water volume and brew bed turbulence by varying the flow of water - it pre-infuses the beverage and then delivers it in pulses to improve flavour extraction. The dispense nozzle has a built-in movable joystick to further control the direction of the water flow.

The Uber Boiler can be used with many different brew methods, including French Press, Aeropress, Chemex, Clever Dripper, Eva Solo, Pourovers and tea brewers.
