Three new stock mixes from Essential Cuisine

Light Vegetable is one of three new stock mixes from Essential Cuisine made with carrots, onions, celery, garlic and herbs to complement light soups and pasta.

Cheddar Cheese stock can replace up to 75% of cheese in a cheese sauce, according to the company, and can also be used in vegetarian dishes. Also available is a Roast Chicken Stock for all roasting recipes, jus and gravies.

The stocks have a clear appearance, are simple and easy to use and contain no monosodium glutamate, genetically-modified ingredients or preservatives.

They have a 12-month shelf life and colour-coded packaging for easy recognition. Light Vegetable and Roast Chicken stocks come in 2 x 800g cases, producing 80 litres, and the Cheddar Cheese stock comes in 2 x 600g cases, producing 60 litres.
