TwinSet Energy+ GS515 pass-through dishwasher from Winterhalter

26 August 2010 by

Premises with limited space and variable workloads are the target customers for the new TwinSet version of Winterhalter's Energy+ GS515 pass-through dishwasher which links two GS515 units together side-by-side as a flexible alternative to full conveyor systems.

Operators can use both machines during peak times and switch to one unit during slacker periods, cutting energy, water and chemical use by 50%. The set-up allows operators to work more quickly than with two separate machines, as they can open both hoods at the same time so they can load and unload simultaneously. Space is preserved as the TwinSet machines use the same feed-in and unload areas.

The use of Winterhalter's energy-saving heat exchangers (which recycle energy from steam and waste water to heat incoming cold water) and a new rinse system requiring less water, energy and detergents can save operators more than £1,000 in annual running costs for each GS515 unit. Each can handle up to 70 racks of 500mm x 600mm per hour.
