UK regional pâtés, relish, purées and chutneys from Beacon Foods

In a bid to support local agriculture, Beacon Foods has developed the Taste of the Worlds range from the British Isles. The seasonal range includes pâtés, relish, purées and chutney.

English Herefordshire Asparagus pâté is blended with local herbs and cream cheese made with organic Jersey cattle milk.

Timperley Early Rhubarb is cooked slowly with Somerset Cider Vinegar made from traditional cider apple varieties such as Sheep's Nose and Brown Snout to make the Rhubarb and Bramley Apple Relish.

Golden Beetroot Chutney is made with the Burpees variety of beetroot, which has a golden colour and intense taste.

Green Tomato Chutney is made with the Carousel and Mecano varieties of English green tomatoes, while Cox's, Royal Gala and Bramley apples are cooked slowly with Conference pears and Somerset Cider Vinegar to produce Somerset Orchard Chutney.

Also available, when in season, are Roast Winter Root Vegetables and Roast Winter Root Vegetable Purée, for which Herefordshire's deep-orange Nerac carrots, Gladiator parsnips and Brora Swedes are roasted together, producing caramel flavours. Beacon's selected winter root vegetables are then puréed and mixed with rich Welsh Cadog butter plus a blend of herbs and spices.

The products come in 1-5kg packs and are supplied chilled.
