Unilever Food Solutions has created a new guide to increasing pub trade during the festive season.
Developed with the company's pub food expert, Chris Barber, the guide seeks to offer insight and practical advice into maximising food and drink sales, including tips on promoting Christmas menus, keeping an eye on competitors' prices, and ways to increase your margins without pushing prices too high.
Commenting on the new guide, Barber said: "The golden rule is to keep it simple - set menus are easy to sell at a fixed price. Have a maximum of three starters, three mains and three desserts. And don't be afraid to give customers a treat by including highly priced fine food items on your menu."
