E&R Moffat's CR ovens can now chill, store and regenerate food all in the same compartment, without removing or replacing containers.
Once food is cooked and loaded into a pre-chilled CR unit, a timer is set and food is rapid-chilled and held using Chillogen technology before the unit automatically switches to its oven function to regenerate food. This cuts down on food handling and saves space.
The CR ovens are also fitted with multi-fan technology to speed up the heat-up time by 55% while ensuring even temperatures throughout the oven.
The oven compartment and fascia are manufactured from stainless steel with a thermal break between to ensure a safe and cool exterior, while the double-skinned, insulated door is also made from stainless steel and fitted with heavy-duty hinges and catch.
LED controls are designed for easy programming and a buzzer alerts staff at the end of a cycle.
The CR oven can also be fitted with a HACCAP-compliant 3D data-logging system to automate the process of testing and recording both cabinet temperatures and food temperatures.
