The brief The light installation had to be cheap and eye-catching as a draw for new customers.

The solution The white Vegware espresso cups were used in the café, so it was decided to incorporate them in a utilitarian, disposable object as decoration. An LED lighting grid normally used for Christmas trees was put inside each cup, and inserted an O-ring grommet from a plumbing supplies shop to hold the bulb in place.
