Walkers unveils new pub quiz guide for Publicans

Walkers has launched a new pub quiz guide, to help publicans across the country drive footfall and increase their snacks sales while maintaining and motivating customer loyalty.

Available to download from the brand's new pub quiz website, the guide gives publicans a range of hints and tips on how to host a successful quiz on their premises.

The eight page brochure features everything from quiz questions suitable for all of the family, advice for publicans on how to get the most out of an event and information on how to increase sales of bar snacks on offer during the evening.

Ayman Nasreldin, director of out-of-home at PepsiCo, said: "We are really excited to be launching this new initiative, which will give operators all of the advice they need to host a best-in-class pub quiz at their premises. We have developed this guide for the pub channel to help publicans drive footfall and incremental sales in their pubs by tapping into the growing trend for snacking."

In addition to the online guide and to celebrate the launch Walkers is offering one publican the chance to win a PA system worth £500 and access to a range of other point of sale materials to help support their quiz evening including a poster, tent card, score card and advice on getting the most from their snacks fixture.
