Wash'n'Walk floor cleaner from Ecolab

The new Wash'n'Walk floor cleaner from Ecolab is claimed to be "greener than green".

The enzyme-based solution digests grease and dirt when mixed with lukewarm water and requires no rinsing. This cuts energy costs - and the risk of scalds - and allows a restaurant to save as much as 20 litres of water a day and more than 7,000 litres a year.

"New Wash'n'Walk decreases customers' water and energy use, and the dispensing method reduces waste," said Ecolab UK marketing manager Nick Burchell. "It is biodegradable and has no negative impact on the environment."

The super-concentrated liquid, which has no irritant or corrosive properties, also cuts down on packaging and is available in a fivelitre container.
