Whoopie cakes from Brakes' La Boulangerie

Whoopie cakes, the latest sweet sensation sweeping across the Atlantic, will be on the menu at Brakes' bread and pâtisserie division, La Boulangerie, from September in classic chocolate and strawberry flavours. The La Boulangerie cakes are sold individually wrapped in packs of 24.

Chocolate Whoopie Cakes comprise two chocolate sponge discs sandwiched with vanilla buttercream and decorated with chocolate icing and golden and bronzed sugar nibs, while Strawberry Whoopie Cakes are made of vanilla sponge discs filled with a strawberry frosting and covered in white icing and flakes of real strawberry.
