Will Torrent to compère at Mövenpick Gourmet Dessert Chef 2014 final

Will Torrent has been confirmed as the compère for the live final of the Mövenpick Gourmet Dessert Chef 2014 competition to be held in London on the 25 September.

Having worked alongside Heston Blumenthal and Jamie Oliver, and with a second cookbook Chocolate at Home due for release in September, Torrent will provide support and encouragement for six finalists as they strive to impress the judges with their original recipe.

UK World Chocolate Master Ruth Hinks and The Langham's Cherish Finden will work with the other judges to find an innovative dish that demonstrates culinary skill and includes Mövenpick Ice Cream as an integral component of the dessert.

The winner will receive a luxury two-day spa break in Edinburgh, along with a private Chocolate Showpiece course with Ruth Hinks at the Cocoa Black Chocolate & Pastry School in Peebles.
