La Boella Premium extra virgin olive oil is made from sustainably farmed Arbequina olives produced from the first cold press and Flavours of Spain is giving away a 0.5-litre bottle to three Buy It! readers.
According to the company, La Boella Premium is one of only five extra virgin olive oils in Spain to belong to a Pago - a term that defines superior quality oil, from the olives of specific olive groves.
These olives are selected from the best harvest in mid-November, when they are changing colour from green to black and are still rosy.
The resulting oil is well balanced and complex, with the fruitiness of ripe olives and hints of other ripe fruit such as apple and banana. A slight taste of almonds brings added sweetness.
