Win a Taurus Rowzer frozen food processor worth over £1,500 from Nisbets

Due to the rising cost of food ingredients, the importance of portion control and food waste reduction has never been greater. As such, chefs - and even finance directors - are constantly looking at equipment that will help them to provide fresh food, in controlled quantities, in minutes.

In recent years, the power of the frozen food processor to do exactly that has been harnessed by chefs across the globe. Offering speed, convenience and flexibility, frozen food processors are perfect for a range of foods from ice-cream, sorbets and appetisers, through to concentrates, terrines, desserts and pralines. All of these can be prepared prior to service, frozen and then delivered direct from the freezer in measured quantities.

By setting the processor to the specific portions required, caterers can remove the exact quantity, prior to returning the stainless-steel beaker back to the freezer, with the remaining portions still frozen and intact.

The Prize
The winner will receive a Taurus Rowzer DN659 frozen food processor that can help caterers transform menus at the touch of a button. Featuring an LCD display to highlight digital programmes, a "click in" magnetic blade for ease of operation and cleaning, as well as a removable base plate for easy removal, the Taurus Rowzer ensures that a range of dishes can be delivered fresh and ready, at a moment's notice.

Whether it's for just a single serving, or a maximum of 10 portions, the Rowzer will inject air into the frozen product while its blade drills down to "shave" the specific amount. By retaining the original flavours, vitamins and nutrients of the fresh ingredients, the finished dish is enjoyed by the customer as if it has just been freshly prepared.
