Win a Vollrath planetary mixer worth more than £2,000 from FEM

These workhorses of the commercial kitchen are fitted with a number 12 hub, making them a truly flexible choice. Along with a wide range of accessories, they can accommodate a meat grinder or vegetable slicer to increase food preparation options way beyond mixing.
The prize
FEM is giving Caterer and Hotelkeeper readers the chance to win the 20-litre model, the MIX1020, worth £2,040.
This mixer can process 11.3kg of bread and roll dough, 9.1kg of thick pizza dough, 6.8kg of mashed potatoes or 9.1kg of cake batter. Or it can whisk up 0.9 litres of meringue and 3.8 litres of cream to fill them!
Designed for demanding applications and constant use, the mixer has a 0.5hp motor and its gears and shafts are made of heat-treated alloy steel for long life and quiet operation. The planetary mixing action, with three-speed transmission, ensures consistent mixing regardless of volume, to give a smooth homogenous result.
FEM will supply the winner's mixer with a dough hook, wire whisk, spatula, stainless-steel mixing bowl and safety guard. Other accessories available include grinder and slicer attachments, agitators, bowls and reducer kits.
