Winterhalter wins SRA Approved Supplier status

Winterhalter is one of the first catering equipment manufacturers to achieve Approved Supplier status in the Sustainable Restaurant Association's (SRA) new approval programme.

In order to become an approved supplier, manufacturers and their products have to pass a strict assessment programme. Winterhalter was credited by the SRA with "improvements in energy efficiency [and] water consumption and reductions in the amount of waste generated".

Paul Crowley, marketing manager at Winterhalter UK, said: "SRA approval underlines the credibility of our resource-saving technologies. Sustainability has to be a major focus for all foodservice equipment manufacturers and we are delighted to be part of the new programme."
