Host Contract Management has strengthened its national sales and operations functions with several new appointments to its senior management team.
Alan McDonald joins the independent caterer as regional director for Scotland from Elior where he was operations director for Scotland. McDonald, who is based in Newton Mearns, Glasgow, has also worked for Sodexo and brings 23 years of contract catering experience to his new role.
Paul Blacker and Jon Fassam, both from BaxterStorey, have been appointed operations director - south and operations manager - south respectively. They will join the client focused team led by UK operations director Deborah Homshaw.
Two former Aramark sales executives have also joined Host. Martin Jones has been named sales director - south, while Dave Croshaw has been appointed sales director - north. They will both report to UK sales director Andrew Scott.
As well as the many new faces to the business, Host has also made two internal promotions. Tim Priestman steps up to the job of operations director - north, while Donna Debenedictis will be senior operations manager.
Chief executive Bill Toner said Host has put together a team of people who know the market and who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business.
"Our aim is to deliver on the promises we make, become an extension to our clients' team, be approachable and to work with our clients in providing the catering service that they want," he said.
"I'm confident our new-look team will deliver this pledge and enable us to carry out our strategy for growth in the UK."
