Lynne Graham appointed HR director for Westbury Street Holdings

Lynne Graham has been appointed human resources director for Westbury Street Holdings (WSH) following Linda Halliday's decision to retire from the role earlier this year.

Graham will assume responsibility for the HR, talent development and training and development of the firm's 9,000 employees across all its businesses, which include BaxterStorey, Caterlink, Holroyd Howe and Benugo, and Portico front-of-house management services. She will be based at WSH's head office in Reading and will report to chief executive Alastair Storey.

Graham has worked in HR in a number of sectors and previous positions include customer services & HR director for Eurostar and, most recently, HR director of British Gas.

Storey said that everyone in the business has a critical role to play. He said: "Attracting and retaining the best people remains one of the biggest challenges our sector faces and I'm delighted that a professional of Lynne's caliber has chosen to work with us to help ensure our businesses remain employers of choice."

Graham added: "Each of the Westbury Street Holdings businesses are highly regarded in their sectors and I'm really looking forward to building on the great work already achieved. By continuing to nurture a culture that drives engagement and loyalty and which truly demonstrates respect for the contribution people make, I believe the businesses will enjoy even greater future success that everyone can share in."
