Blackmore Fund buys Ramada in Crewe

Investment group the Blackmore Fund has bought the Ramada hotel in Crewe from Ramacourt for an undisclosed sum.

The 64-bed hotel Art Deco-style hotel, built in 2005, fronts onto Macon Way in Crewe town centre, close to Crewe station. The hotel currently operates under a Ramada franchise.

Following acquisition, it will be re-branded as a Holiday Inn Express hotel, under a Franchise Agreement from Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG). On completion of the conversion the hotel will operate with a total of 70 bedrooms.

The day to day management of the hotel will be undertaken by Chardon Management.

The deal was brokered by property consultants Edward Symonns for the Blackmore Fund.
