Parsons to stick with Travelodge

Veteran hotel marketer Guy Parsons is to stay on at budget hotel operator Travelodge following the chain's acquisition by Dubai International Capital (DIC).

Parsons, now chief operating officer at Travelodge, is the former sales and marketing director for the chain and a former marketing director for rival Whitbread-owned Premier Travel Inn.

Travelodge has confirmed that he will stay with the company together with chief executive Grant Hearn, chairman Keith Hamill and finical director Jon Mortimore.
