Greene King's the Boot pub to undergo £500,000 refurbishment

It is expected to reopen on 7 September.

The site will have an extended trading area, natural lighting from glass roofs and external beach huts for alfresco dining.

The dining area will be more formal, and available for private hire. Local and seasonal dishes will be served daily from breakfast through to dinner.

At the bar, the Boot will offer cask and real ales alongside new craft beers and ciders.

Paul Wigham, CEO of All Our Bars said: "We cannot wait to open what will be a fantastic pub and dining venue with innovative drinks and a fine menu of tantalising dishes. The designers have come up with some amazing ideas that really show what a beautiful building this is, it's looking superb.

Once again, it has been a brilliant experience working with our partners Greene King who have been hugely supportive throughout a long renovation process. This is a true retail/pubco partnership that transcends many of the industry issues that are making headlines for the wrong reasons. We look forward to continuing our partnership into the future. Our thanks also go to Carty Building Contractors, Gardiff and particularly Focus Design with who we have now worked on four major projects. Their service is first class and their designs practical and innovative."
