McGettigan's pub group opens its first UK site in Fulham
Irish pub group McGettigan's has opened its first UK venue at 1 Fulham Broadway in London, on the site of the former Brogan's Irish bar.
The group acquired the leasehold of the three-storey, 7,994 sq ft property in January from Glendola Leisure Group, which traded as Brogan's.
After months of renovations the new bar and restaurant has opened to the public offering a range of premium spirits and dishes prepared by a Michelin-trained chef.
Head chef Nil Albors Soldevila, who has experience from around the world, has worked alongside group head chef Derek Flynn to create the menu.
Dishes include McGettigan's signature buffalo hot wings, Waygu beef chilli nachos, 8oz steak burger and the full Irish breakfast.
A range of classic and craft drink brands will be on offer including a selection of Irish whiskeys, Orchard Pig Cider and Meantime Brews.
Dennis McGettigan, chief executive of McGettigan's, said: "McGettigan's is celebrated across the world for providing a uniquely premium, modern Irish pub experience and we already have many London-based fans who have discovered our brands overseas.
"We very much look forward to welcoming Londoners and visitors to the area to enjoy our first UK McGettigan's pub."
The group has 11 other sites in Ireland, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and New York. It is currently looking for opportunities across the UK including Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.
McGettigan's was founded in Ireland on Dublin's Queen Street in the 1960s by Jim McGettigan.
