Revolution Bars Group sees 2% like-for-like growth in second half of 2016
Revolution Bars Group, which operates bars under the Revolution and Revolución de Cuba brands, saw like-for-like sales growth of 2% in the second half of 2016.
In an interim results announcement for the six months to 31 December 2016, the company unveiled a 12.7% increase in revenue of £66.7m.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose by 13.6% to £9.2m. The full-year figure was £8.1m. Reported operating profit was £4.7m, while the full-year figure stood at £4.7m.
The company now has 66 sites, with 53 Revolution and 13 Revolución de Cuba bars. Two new sites are planned to open in the second half of the year, taking the estate to 68.
