Caterer Mitie wins contract at flagship Jaeger store in London
Iconic British designer Jaeger is to open a new lifestyle café in its flagship Regent Street store in London, CatererSearch can reveal.
The Jaeger Café will be a 60-seater restaurant located on the store's third floor and will feature pan-European cuisine, organic dishes and sharing platters.
It will be open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and drinks including a Water Bar, which allows customers to select infusions to suit their palate and mood.
Contract caterer Mitie, which also has the contract at Hamleys toy shop further up the road, will run the kitchen.
Alistair Day, who previously worked at Compass' fine dining arm, Restaurant Associates, has been announced as executive chef.
Anthony Bennett, managing director of Mitie said: "Jaeger's proposition is very much about providing elegant luxury at an affordable entry point. Jaeger Café will re-enforce this through creating an identifiable space that can be used for either business or leisure."
The café is due to open in September. Sharing plates will start from £10.
