FSA: Aspartame ‘safe to consume’ after sweetener listed as carcinogenic

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has responded to the recent ruling that aspartame, a sweetener found in a number of well-known drinks brands, is “safe to consume” after it was found to be “possibly carcinogenic”.
