Three new members for Pride of Britain
Pride of Britain Hotels has announced three new members, boosting the sales and marketing consortium up to a collection of 42 properties.
The new members are South Lodge at Lower Beeding, West Sussex, the Thurlestone, near Kingsbridge, Devon, and Eshott Hall, near Alnwick, Northumberland.
While the association is not actively looking for new members, its rules allow a maximum of 50 hotels.
"Our overriding aim is to look after the members we already have but, having said that, new members represent additional income for our marketing budget which helps everybody," said Peter Hancock, Pride of Britain's chief executive.
The admission of new members is dependent on a successful first inspection by one current member hotelier, whose report is then considered by the Pride of Britain board. Mystery guests then visit member hotels at least once every two years.
Now 29 years old, Pride of Britain markets its hotels to UK consumers through a mix of online and offline communication channels.
