OurHouse secures £100m Blackstone investment

The family-focused private members’ club Little Houses Group has rebranded as OurHouse and secured three new sites for expansion following an £100m cash injection from Blackstone.

 

The fresh investment from Blackstone, which counts Haven Holidays owner Bourne Leisure and theme park group Merlin Entertainments in its UK portfolio, will fund three new London-based clubs in East Sheen, Chiswick and Clapham.

 

Each new opening is set to create approximately 130 new jobs.

 

OurHouse was founded by Charlie Gardiner and opened its first club in 2022. The group currently operates two clubs named after Gardiner’s children – Jaego’s House in Kensal Rise and Jesse’s House in Parsons Green.

 

The members’ club is focused on London expansion for now, but said it was also “assessing opportunities beyond the capital, targeting locations with strong residential fundamentals, where its model can deliver a positive impact.”

 

OurHouse clubs aim to “bring leisure, lifestyle and childcare under one roof” for its members, offering childcare and soft play alongside co-working spaces, gyms and saunas.

 

The group says any future openings “will be developed within existing buildings in family-focussed neighbourhoods with strong demographics, transforming under-used commercial spaces into mixed-use destinations designed specifically for local families.

 

Gardiner said: “Our vision from the start has been simple, to create spaces where families feel at home.
