Michael Caines, award-winning chef-director of the Gidleigh Park hotel in Devon, is among the exciting line-up of industry experts who will be taking part in the theatre programme at Caterer.com Live.

In a series of informal sessions, people from all sectors of hospitality will share insights into their careers, the sort of jobs on offer and the opportunities available.

Also confirmed for the event are:

  • Karen Earp, general manager of London's Four Seasons Canary Wharf and current Caterer & Hotelkeeper Hotelier of the Year
  • John Barnes, chairman of the La Tasca restaurant group and formerly of fish-and-chip group Harry Ramsden's
  • Nigel Buchanan and Mike Warren, general managers at the highly regarded Hotel du Vin group

Contract catering will be represented by Acorn Award-winner Adam Nossek, company development chef at BaxterSmith, along with his managing director Mike Smith, and Dan Wright, managing director of foodservices at Aramark.

Expert tips for both jobseekers and anyone looking to develop their career will be available from image consultant Fiona Ingham, of the House of Colour consultancy, who advises on issues including appearance, body language and style.

A session is also planned on how to put together that killer CV.
