Christmas Puddings – Tasters wanted

IT may be high summer, but it will soon be time to think about Christmas function menus.

Thousands of Christmas puddings will be bought by caterers in the coming months. To help buyers with the difficult choice, we will be tasting the most popular commercially made puddings later this summer.

The tasting panel will be held in the Midlands and weare looking for experienced caterers who feel they can taste the difference between the good and not so good when it comes to Christmas puddings. Tasters can come from wide backgrounds and all sectors of the industry. We would also welcome a venue for the tasting in the Midlands.

Manufacturers of Christmas puddings should also step forward if they believe their products will stand the scrutiny of the tasting panel.
