One of the hotels damaged in the Concorde air crash in Paris last July is up for sale, partly because not enough guests want to stay so near to the scene of the carnage.
Les Relais Bleus hotel was next door to the Hotelissimo, which was completely destroyed when the supersonic airliner crashed.
The Hotelissimo is still sealed off by police and business has been badly hit at Les Relais Bleus (left) ever since the disaster.
This is believed to be partly because the crash site can still clearly be seen from Les Relais Bleus while the investigation continues.
The 72-bedroom two star hotel is now up for sale through the Paris office of agent Christie & Co with an asking price of Ffr15.6m.
Catherine Rawazundi, who is handling the sale, said: "The owner is tired and fed up. He was going to sell anyway but the crash has made him decide to sell earlier than he otherwise would have done."
Rawazundi added that the hotel was in a good position close to Charles de Gaulle airport and would be a good long term investment, but because guests were being put off in the short-term buyers had been discouraged.
The hotel had all its windows blown out by the crash and there was some damage inside, but this was quickly repaired.
Les Relais Bleus was originally part of a franchise owned by a French group that went out of business. Some of the franchisees carried on operating individual hotels under the name, although it cannot be sold on, so whoever buys the hotel will operate it under a new name.
